Please read the instructions carefully. If you have not done so earlier you may want to check first our graduate admissions page. This form does not replace an official application; you must also apply through the Admissions Office. However, please note that the Admissions Office will not process any application without the departmental pre-approval (which is based on this pre-application).
Pre-applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis and admission will be offered to the successful applicants at the earliest opportunity subject to the deadlines imposed to the official application by the Admissions Office.
This form will allow us to provide a preliminary assessment of your capability to enter our programme; while such an assessment is not official, a positive answer almost always implies a positive answer to an official application.
Once completed, you can submit the form at once. However, you can also save your information and continue at a later time by clicking on the Save Profile button.
If you do so, you will be asked to input some basic information, such as your name, email and password so that we can verify your identity when logging back in.
Fields in purple are compulsory. Research and financial data are very important for the assessment of your application.
Make sure you fill in as much of the rest of the form as possible; incomplete data may lead to an incorrect assessment of your application, and often to no assessment at all. Note that we do not provide any feedback abut the completeness of your pre-application; you will simply not hear from us if we do not have enough data for an assessment.
Research Interests
-
Preliminary contact with potential supervisors is encouraged
but not necessary. Please bear in mind that one of the most
important selection criteria is the existence of one faculty
member willing to supervise your program of studies.

It is to your advantage to provide a statement of interest outlining your research interests and abilities. While doing so note that your statement is read by our faculty and its purpose is to attract the attention of your future supervisor. We are not interested in why you chose our university or indeed any other soft information. We would like to see what are your research interests and what can you bring to the research team of your said future supervisor.

Supporting Documents
-
Attach transcripts of all previous university
(undergraduate and graduate) studies. Your
transcripts should provide clear information about
your curriculum, your academic performance, and your
degree. In particular, your cumulative average or
GPA must be provided. If your transcripts
do not provide full information on the matter then
include additional documents as necessary. Note that
it is your responsibility to make sure that we are
able to interpret your academic performance
clearly.
If your program is in progress when applying for
admission then you should submit a transcript for the
part of the program completed up to this point; in
such a case, complete official transcripts must be
received before registration.
Please submit your documents in an open format such
as PDF (preferred) or JPEG; do not use proprietary
formats such as Microsoft Word.
